Rancho Encantado is a beautiful 12 acre cottage resort on the shores of magnificent Laguna Bacalar in the heart of Mayan country and an area unspoiled by development.

The 40 mile long Laguna Bacalar, Lagoon of Seven Colors, is a habitat for orchids and over 150 species of tropical birds. It is nestled near the border of Belize in the southern part of Quintana Roo, Mexico, worlds apart from the high rises and tour buses of Cancun and a gateway to recently excavated Mayan Ruins.

Vickie & Jerry Aldridge are both Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers with over 25 years of experience.

They have been leading yoga groups to foreign destinations for many years and welcome the adventure that comes with travel. They can accommodate all levels of students in their classes from beginners to advanced and they delight in seeing the transformation in students that comes from yoga and travel.

  • Daily Yoga in Cathedral Maya, a soaring palapa over 50 ft. high, located at the water’s edge
